Based on hundreds of conversations with patients who have comorbid an attention deficit disorder and a depressive episode, the researchers at GTSG successfully developed data-driven accesses to the internal arousal. These markers have a very high clinical equivalent and it now appears that these have a high clinical benefit in aspect of to the direction of change. Due to the arousal markers, drug strategies can also be well defined. Together with foreign universities, this hypothesis is currently followed up intensively.
